Respite Care
Caring for a dependent, senior family member may sometimes become stressful, at best. A caregiver may find that he/she needs a "break" from providing round-the-clock assistance to their loved one. There is also the issue of providing care in the caregiver’s absence for such necessities in life as vacations, tending to family matters, business trips, etc. For these reasons, Bethesda Home and Retirement Center offers Respite Care Services.

Respite care stays range from a minimum of one week to a maximum of four weeks. Guests receive the same caring, professional nursing services given to our full-time residents. In addition, the delicious and nutritious meals served and the wide array of activities and services offered at Bethesda may provide a comparable "mini-vacation" for your elder family member.

Rates for respite services are based on our standard daily rates as per appropriate level of care. Fees are paid in advance and do not include medications, incontinence products, and beauty/barber shop fees.
